Delays in concept development at a competitor P/M supplier resulted in the customer having contacted Sinteris. A combination of five components was required. Applying our extensive design experience and many years of pioneering development and application of green state machining, we were able to assist in the development of these components. The most serious challenge was actually a five week development window for all components. Careful management of tool making resources resulted in all five components meeting the demanding schedule. These parts are now in production, as well as an older design mating part that was re-sourced to Sinteris, due to manufacturing and supply difficulties.

Machining product in the green state has been proven to reduce consumable cost significantly with no impact on finished product or design. Papers have been presented at major conferences detailing these innovations that are applied where possible to offer the best price and technology combinations available.
